A Mother's Day Farewell

Yesterday was Mother's Day. It was lovely. You just can't beat homemade gifts from the kiddo's and a yummy dinner prepared by the hubby (although I did do some coaching on the meal). I also had the privilege of speaking in church (about motherhood of course)- I guess that's what happens when your husband is in the bishopric and responsible for finding the speakers each week...

The best part of the day was spent having dinner at Cottesloe Beach with our dear friends, the Colton's. They spent their "last supper" in Perth with us...yes, Brian fed them too. They are headed to South Africa and took the red-eye flight out of Perth last night. Between giving my talk in church and saying goodbye to them, I spent much of the day in tears. I will say though that my Clinique eyeliner did a fantastic job of holding up...

Some random pics taken throughout the evening (I've decided that our last night in Perth- whenever that may be- will definitely be spent at the beach watching the sunset):

All my best to the Colton Family- South Africa is lucky to have you! And Happy Mother's Day too!
