I'm so far behind on blogging that I can't muster up enough desire to play catch up with photos, etc. So how about a quick synopsis on each month and then we start fresh?
November- Thanksgiving cruise to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel with friends.
December- Brian leaves for San Diego to start new job at Sempra. Kim and kids remain in Houston to pack up the house. We reunite in Utah for Christmas and afterwards make the trek to San Diego.
January- It's a month of getting moved into our new home, starting new schools/activities, and lots of unpacking...lots and lots of unpacking. It's also a month of seeing some local sights (La Jolla beaches/seals & Point Loma Lighthouse). Another highlight of January- Mei fell on a clock we were preparing to hang up and ended up with glass shards in her bum...it was a pain in the ass- literally! We spent the day in the ER and OR getting the glass removed. So basically by the end of January, Mei has met her deductible for the year. Kaiya's gymnastics comp season begins.
February- Grandma & Grandpa Dibb come to visit for a week. We meet Gung Gung, Obasan, Jimmy & Yeji in Las Vegas to watch Kaiya at a gym meet. Emiko's sport climbing competition season begins. Mina starts taking gymnastics (again). Brian starts teaching in primary (Emi's class) and I start teaching 16/17 yr olds in Sunday School.
March- More climbing comps. More gym comps. Mei started swim lessons. Some March Madness viewing...and BYU NIT watching also. And usually I do some last minute Easter dress sewing but this year I got sick...so store bought Easter dresses this year! (Side note: it's hard to yell at the kids when you lose you voice)
Looking ahead to April- Kaiya's state championship meet in Long Beach...San Fran girls trip with friends from Houston...spring break in Utah...celebrate Kaiya and Emi's birthday...celebrate Mina's half birthday.
