Weekend Fun

Brian's been out of town quite a bit the last 6 weeks or so (Singapore, Hong Kong, & Tokyo). He got back from his latest business trip on Thursday so it was nice to do some fun, tourist-y things all together this weekend...especially with our visitors!

At the nearby cemetery- lots of wild kangaroos live here! I think the kangaroos attract more visitors than the deceased.

Mina was definitely more interested in finding sticks. She loves the Barbie and the 3 Musketeers movie. There's some sword training and a lot of characters saying "en garde!" Ever since then, she's constantly on a quest to find the best "en garde."

We ate at a restaurant that serves crocodile and kangaroo skewers. Aurora is eating the croc meat and Kaiya is eating the kangaroo.

We always take visitors to Caversham Wildlife Park to feed the kangaroos and see the other Aussie wildlife. Good fun!

Sunday afternoon was spent walking around King's Park. I love the views of the city...and the kids love the croc and dino statues at the play area.

We hope everyone else had a lovely weekend too!
