Crabs, Lice, and Stingers

Crabs:
We have crabs...

A friend from church went crabbing and brought us back some crabs. Mina was quite fascinated by them. They were such a pretty blue color. The girls loved seeing them change to a red color as they cooked in the boiling water. Then Brian showed the girls how to get the crab meat out of the shells. Actually, Emi wanted nothing to do with the crabs...so it was just Kaiya and Mina.



Lice:
Emiko had lice a couple weeks ago. She told me her head was itching about 20 minutes before we had to leave for church. Instead of going to church we went to the pharmacist in our Sunday best to buy the shampoo. Good times.

Stingers:
Kaiya got stung by a jellyfish yesterday while boogie boarding. She said she felt something wrapped around her leg and then it started to sting really bad. We went home and put vinegar on it (we learned this trick from when Emi was stung in Thailand).
