The biggest reason for journeying back to the states is, of course, to see family & friends. We got to see a lot of you. We missed a lot of you. Unfortunately, 3 weeks isn't a lot of time...and we ended up with sick kids towards the end of the trip. I'm grateful we were able to see those that we did and I'm sorry for those we missed. Perhaps we can meet up our next trip stateside (or you can always come to Perth)!
Dibb Family Christmas Party! We missed seeing Grandma & Grandpa Dibb (they're on a mission in Bolivia) but it was great to see everyone else! The girls loved seeing their cousins...
Cute, cute Stella (and mom Brittani)- Stella was a baby the last time we saw her- she's so grown up!
A picture of all of the younger Dibb cousins
Lots of pictures of everyone making gingerbread houses:
Our family gingerbread house!
Brittani organized some games to play...
Opening presents from Grandma & Grandpa (sent from Bolivia). Thanks for the gifts!
Our friends from Houston (now living in Argentina) were in town visiting their family- they brought us Cafe Rio and we spent a few hours chatting. Emi & Will were such good buddies in Houston!
Mina & Abby (another winning look by Mina).
My two best friends came to visit! Nannette lives in Houston and Kristi is in Austin. We had a fun weekend of shopping, eating, and relaxing...thanks to Brian for watching the kids!
Kristi brought her baby, Hyrum. Mei is 4 months older.
This is Robyn. We met here in Perth but her husband's job relocated them back to Utah earlier in the year. We had a great time skiing & catching up over dinner.
Brunch with the Burt's and Malmborg's. These guys are our friends from law school. Brian, Mike, & Jason were study buddies...these guys made law school tolerable (even fun)!
When law school started, Kaiya was the only kid...now look how our group has grown over the years! That's 10.5 kids (Victoria is pregnant)!
Ironically, despite spending a ton of time w/my side of the family...I apparently have no photos to prove it. But I'm grateful all the same that we were able to spend time with them!
