After returning home from the doctor:
Me: Wow Mina, you were so brave going to the doctor and getting your shots today!
Mina: No, I not brave...I cried!
Regarding a back injury (cause unknown):
Emiko: Mom, my back hurts really bad.
Me: Oh, really?
Emiko: Well, it ONLY hurts when I bend over like this (bending over to touch toes)...and when I sit...and when I walk....and when I run.
Kaiya: My back hurts too.
