Triathlon

Kaiya participated at an inter-school triathlon at the end of October. It was a voluntary, extra-curricular activity with about 6 weeks of training. She did a great job. One week later she participated in a community-wide triathlon event. Students were separated into teams of 3 with each kid doing one event. Kaiya did the running portion. Unfortunately, I left my camera and phone behind and wasn't able to get any photos...only of the first triathlon. But I was really impressed with the caliber of athletes- Kaiya did amazing. PS. I should note the distances: 200 meter swim, 6 km bicycling, and 2 km run.

Had to throw this pic in...watching the triathlon was not Mei/Mina's idea of excitement.
