Dunedin Part 2- Tunnel Beach

Tunnel Beach- a gorgeous, scenic beach we hiked down to. A few pics on the steep walk down...

I love that we were able to walk along of the top of these rock cliffs- the arch below is amazing!

"Mom, I'm tired"- um, it was so steep she was carried most of the way...

It's hard to read but the sign says "beware of cliffs"

Apparently this used to be private land...and in the 1870's the owner carved out a tunnel in the cliffs to gain private access to this beach...hence the name Tunnel Beach. Here are the girls at the entrance of the tunnel.
