Happy Half-Birthday

For family night last Monday we celebrated Kaiya and Emi's half-birthdays. Really, this was just a great excuse for me to buy yummy cake...and since their half-birthdays are 1 week apart I can get away with buying 1 whole cake and just simply cut it in half. The girls loved, loved it. I was the best mom ever that day. So apparently this will become a family tradition. And now Emiko runs around telling complete strangers she's 4 1/2 rather than 4.
