Oh man, where did the time go? I can't believe this girl is 7 already! We were watching old home video's of the kids this past weekend and Kaiya remarked "I think Emiko was the most funny baby out of all of us." It just might be true. We have been in constant laughter b/c of Emiko's antics over the last seven years. I am also constantly amazed at how fast she can make friends. She is well-liked by her peers. She will talk to anyone! She compliments strangers on their jewelry. She loves talking to the doctor/dentist whenever she goes for a check-up. Recently on the plane ride home from Singapore she sat next to a retired couple...and they chatted the entire plane ride (and discovered that not only do they live in the same suburb as us but live on the same street just a block north of us)! Anyways, we are blessed to have such a sweet spirit in our home- because even though she keeps us laughing so also has an emotional, sensitive side that is so endearing- our family wouldn't be complete without her. Happy birthday Emiko. After reading this post I think Kale'a and Emiko are quite similar. Kale'a also talks to everyone. She compliments women in regards to their hair, clothing, shoes, and/or jewelry. She is also very silly and makes us laugh. Could this mean it is in the Lee genetics? We have no idea where this type A personality came from unless of course it just skipped Jared.
