Singapore Part 2

We spent 2 days at Universal Studios. Poor Brian didn't make it into any of the photos. He spent most of his time taking pictures or taking video with his GoPro. Mei didn't make it into many pics either b/c she was in the stroller most of the time. She did great and was mostly happy spending long periods of time in the stroller (since she couldn't ride any of the rides)...

The obligatory photo taken in front of the Universal Studio's globe:

The Transformers 4-D ride was my personal favorite. Brian, Kaiya, and Emiko said it made them dizzy (wimps)...and Mina was scared silent the entire ride (although she said she loved it). Mina insisted on getting her picture with a transformer.

Mina in front of Shrek & Fiona's castle (the 4-D ride was fun too).

Gloria from Madagascar.

Sesame Street...I was really surprised they wanted to get a photo b/c none of my kids have ever really watched much Sesame Street...except Cookie Monster's Call Me Maybe parody- youtube it if you haven't seen it!

Kung Fu Panda!

Last time we were in Singapore the Singapore Flyer was closed for repairs- so this time we made it a priority to go. The Singapore Flyer is the world's largest ferris wheel. It take 30 minutes to do a full revolution. Before you get on the flyer you walk through this museum-type area that only mildly interested my girls (I'm pretty sure it was about the design and building process of the flyer). Anyways, the girls thought this sculpture was pretty cool:

It wasn't a busy day so we had the entire "space" to ourselves! You can see that there are benches in the middle and curved windows for viewing.

Mei enjoyed standing on the hand rail.

Family photo (minus Brian b/c he's taking the pic)

A scenery shot:

Mei crawling around.

Another scenery pic:

A shot of the girls just messing around- it's quite spacious, huh?! The Singapore Flyer offers dinner packages, wedding packages, and birthday party packages! Crazy!

I just had to include this last photo. During the entire trip Mina had a difficult time reaching the sink to wash her hands b/c the counter is too high and there wasn't a stool. So we moved the soap to the tub and she washed her hands in the tub throughout the entire trip!

And that concludes our fun vacation...it only took me a month to blog about it...the end.
