Singapore Pics

A fellow tourist we struck up a conversation with at one point (well, Emiko struck up the conversation actually) said "If you've never been to Asia- try Singapore first! Singapore is Asia for beginners!" It's so true! A perfect blend of Eastern & Western culture. I could live in Singapore. I highly recommend Resorts World Sentosa Island- such a family friendly place!

If you pay a lot of $$$, you can go to the top of "Merlion" and see the views. In the background is our hotel...and you can see Singapore City in the distance also.

We went to Singapore Zoo, it was amazing (and we know zoos). It rained for a bit so we bought some fashionable ponchos to keep dry...here we're waiting for the elephant show to begin.

The kiddos were excited to hold this bird...can't remember what bird it is but I'm sure Kaiya does.

Brian and Emiko riding the luge on Sentosa Island. Brian got to take Kaiya on the MegaZip line (as seen on The Amazing Race show). No pics of that though b/c I had stayed behind with the other kids for naps.

Universal Studios Singapore...we liked it better than HK Disneyland!
