See Ya Later, Summer

We left Utah August 13th. 10 dish barrel boxes, 3 carry ons, and 5 backpacks...and that doesn't include the luggage we sent back with Brian. When we got to the SLC airport the lady at the ticket counter immediately asked "are you going to Saudi Arabia?" She said the boxes made it obvious- lol! We ended up on the same flights as two other families we know from Saudi- it was fun to have our kids catch up and entertain each other during the layover in Amsterdam.

Boxes everywhere. Lots of unpacking happened this week.

We arrived the night before school started. Jet lag had the kids up about 3 am...and I still sent them to school. Take that jet lag! Here's the obligatory 1st day of school photo:

Lastly, my kids are rock stars- they are such good travelers now- if only I could get over jet lag as quickly as my kids...! Anyways, see ya later summer! But really...can you take the heat with you??? We're melting over here!
